Export DWG

Here comes a few tips when exporting DWG’s from a SFE model.

 

Start by creating a separate set of views to export or alternative have just a view template to apply.

 

In the export views make sure that the links in the project are all turned off, and only Generic Model, Fire Alarm device and Spaces are visible.

Before exporting and all the visibility / graphic override is set.

Symbols in the floor plan that “overlap” the hatch from the colour fill will create a hole I the fire compartment line

To avoid this and being able to send the entire model, first turn off Fire Alarm Device and export DWG

Then export only fire alarm devices

Choose floor plans to export, recommended to create a set

Because the different requirements for compartmentations for walls are subcategories, it might be necessary to explode the generic models.
